Senior Field Technician
Department: Operations
Reports to: Director of Operations
Location: Nationwide

Purpose:
The Senior Field Technician oversees and performs the installation, configuration, and quality control of commercial AV systems across local and national sites. This role requires hands-on expertise in installing displays, audio components, network cabling, and CCTV systems, as well as managing and training subcontracted AV technicians. The Senior Field Technician also ensures projects are completed efficiently and up to company standards while serving as a key point of contact between field technicians, internal teams, and clients. Flexibility to travel frequently and on short notice is essential.

Responsibilities:
General
· Perform local and nationwide installs - must have the ability to travel regularly, often with little to no notice:
        - Install and configure commercial displays to a variety of substrates.
        - Knowledge of commercial audio and ability to install all audio components including but not limited to speakers, amplifiers, and DSPs.
        - Pull and terminate network and audio cabling.
        - Install and align commercial CCTV cameras.
        - High level knowledge of networking infrastructure, Wi-Fi, and basic troubleshooting.
· Qualify, recruit, and hire subcontracted AV Field Technicians with varying skillsets/experience nationwide, including remote areas.
· Source field resources to ensure they are being utilized in the most efficient and effective ways possible.
· Provide support to PTG field resources.
· Provide an avenue for conflict resolutions between field resources and internal customers (Sales, PM, Service) when discrepancies occur either in field conditions, billing requirements, or proper documentation.
· Serve as an escalation point for Customer Service & Support Specialists.
· Provide internal customers (Sales, PM, Service) of necessary labor quotes and/or parts needed for internal customers to create a quote for the client.
· Effectively manage expectations between PTG and subcontracted field services resources from the onset of the professional relationship.
· Respond to internal technician sourcing requests within 24 hours.
· Other duties as assigned.

Quality Control
· Quality Control and Assurance Program for Technicians - auditing completed projects/install debriefs
· Train technicians
· Perform job site visits to QC installations as requested by clients and project managers
· Consistently evaluate completed projects to ensure that the proper Installation Services processes and procedures are being completed by both internal employees as well as subcontracted resources in the field
· When performing installs:
        - Manage job sites in a clean and organized manner
        - Dress cables in AV racks and behind displays
        - Submit thorough Check Out Reports and Progress Reports before leaving job sites
        - Daily time entries recorded

Qualifications:
· NIMBLE
· Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
· 3-5 years' experience in the field installing commercial A/V systems
· Proven working experience in Customer Service in the A/V industry
· Experience commissioning commercial A/V system DSP’s, AVoverIP, Network switches
· Experience in Q360 and/or Field Nation a plus
· Ability to take initiative and work effectively and efficiently
· Capacity to perform in a deadline driven environment, sense of urgency a must
· Extreme attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Advanced computer skills in MS Office, able to produce advanced Excel Workbooks, Smartsheet, etc. is a plus
· AV training and certifications requested – Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC, Cisco, Biamp, BSS, Bose, DBX to name a few
· Certification considered a plus – CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D, CNA, BICSI, CompTIA, etc.
· Travel required – often with little to no notice

AV Systems Engineer/Programmer
Department: Engineering
Reports to: Engineering Lead
Location: Nationwide

Purpose:
The AV Systems Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining all engineering documentation, including proposal drawings, shop drawings, bills of material, and scopes of work. The engineer will complete necessary tasks while adhering to schedules and deadlines, ensuring the successful design and implementation of AV solutions.

Responsibilities:
· Create full BOM based on Sales Team opportunity requests, ensuring all components are accurately represented
· Generate detailed technical Scopes of Work (SOW) and design narratives that clearly outline the engineered solutions
· Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and technical/functional design specifications to prepare compliant engineered solutions
· Research emerging AV technologies to enhance the quality and effectiveness of engineered solutions
· Interface with product and distribution partners to obtain specifications for systems, devices, and equipment during the engineering process
· Maintain quality assurance by following organization standards and best practices
· Participate in advanced industry training programs to obtain relevant certifications and improve technical expertise
· Engage with clients through site visits or virtual meetings to understand their specific needs and requirements
· Create and deliver demonstrations, presentations, and prototypes that highlight the features and benefits of the engineered solutions, tailored to meet the client needs
· Develop engineered solutions that align with customer business requirements, ensuring they are practical, scalable, and cost effective
· Perform internal trainings on various AV technologies

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work/related experience
· Proficient in functionality of Commercial A/V products and services
· Advanced CAD (AutoCAD) knowledge a plus
· Extensive knowledge of:
        - Signal flow for audio, video, and control
        - 70/100 Volt audio systems
        - Video Distribution in retail and restaurant environments
· Experience with:
        - Construction & onsite installation
        - CCTV
        - QSC Programming
        - Crestron Programming
        - Biamp, Extron, Bose, AMX, DBX, Polycom systems
· Preferred industry certifications:
        - CTS, CTS-D, or I
        - CTI (Crestron Certified Programmer) CTI- P101, 201, SG, Fusion-P, P-301
        - Extron CCS, or CPC and XPT SDE
· Effective communication skills

Technical Customer Service & Support Specialist
Department: Customer Service & Support
Reports to: Manager of Customer Service & Support
Location: Wixom, Michigan

Purpose:
To provide exceptional technical support and customer service by effectively resolving client issues, offering expert guidance on product usage, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role bridges the gap between the company's technical capabilities and the customer's needs.

Responsibilities:
· Oversee the internal tracking system for service jobs, including managing Q360 boards, technician database, and client web portals as required.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot service requests before dispatching technicians to optimize service efficiency.
· Develop detailed Scopes of Work (SOW) for service dispatches, ensuring clarity and precision.
· Align technician sourcing needs with Installation Services including SOWs and budgets.
· Clearly communicate SOWs to technicians to facilitate efficient and timely service dispatches.
· Maintain and update client-specific notes in Q360, ensuring accurate and current information.
· Generate and manage technician Purchase Orders (POs) and Client Sales Orders (SOs) in Q360.
· Adhere to Client Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring compliance and high service standards.
· Escalate concerns or ongoing issues to Manager, particularly those affecting SLAs or recurring challenges.
· Manage service call costs to stay within approved budgets as determined by customers and SLAs.
· Collaborate with Engineering to ensure the proper equipment is specified and quoted for replacements or enhancements.
· Generate quotes in Q360 and obtain client approval when necessary.
· Coordinate equipment shipments, maintaining clear communication with internal and external customers as required.
· Ensure the successful completion of service jobs by technicians, including the collection of Certificates of Completion (COC), photos, and verification of technician PO amounts.
· Upload all necessary documentation into the internal storage system for easy access and record-keeping.

Qualifications:
· Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
· 2+ years of experience in a technical customer service or support role.
· Experience working with service management software, such as Q360 or similar systems, a plus.
· Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
· Understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and experience in adhering to them.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Strong customer service orientation with a focus on building and maintaining positive client relationships.
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Installation Services.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability.
